Joe Liburdi Scuba Dive Travel

Craig took his first breath off of a regulator in 1975. Twenty-five years later, he decided to get certified and became completely enamored with the sport. He continued his scuba education becoming a PADI Scuba Instructor in early 2003. Craig holds teaching credentials from DSAT, PADI, and Emergency First Response including Specialty Instructor ratings in U/W Videography, U/W Photography, Deep, Enriched Air (Nitrox), and Wreck.

Craig enjoyed seeing all of the abudant sea life while diving, but after a short while, decided that he needed a purpose behind his dives. He toyed with still photography for a short while, buying his first camera (a Sea and Sea MX-10) from Liburdi's Scuba Center. He quickly moved to video where the action and ability to create a 'story' interested him.

When diving for fun, Craig can usually be seen shooting video with his Sony PC-110 and Light & Motion Mako housing. An aspiring technical diver, he plans to combine his love of video, scuba, and history to produce short segments on the historical wrecks of WWII in the South Pacific.
