GREETINGS!Our family loves La Paz so much that
our son Evan Sherman and his beloved Niccole Chicca
chose La Paz as the site for their wedding. They were
married at La Concha Beach Resort on Saturday May 19th.
About 30 close friends and immediate family joined us
for days of celebration. Some of the guests went diving
with the Cortez Club, others snorkeled with the sea
lions at Los Islotes. Some went waterskiing, others went
ATVing the dunes. Grandfather and dad Chicca went
deepsea fishing. And then there were those of us who
lounged by the pool with a margarita and a book. It was
glorious!

That's the subject of my talk to the South
Orange County Dive Club (SOCDC) on Wednesday, June
13th. Mike Bartick and I are Guest Speakers at the
club meeting that evening. Mike will present an
awesome show of images taken last February in
Palau. I will be presenting a new show called "As
I See It," a compilation of some of my favorite
images taken around the world over the past many
years.

'd been to Palau five times before this past
February trip and I wasn't prepared. I mean, I
knew the diving there was terrific, otherwise I
wouldn't have scheduled another trip there. But
terrific doesn't describe the quality of that
trip. Try awesome! Amazing! Exceptional!
